Solly Ozrovech

Solly Ozrovech (b. 17 January 1927 in Poland) was one of the most well-known Afrikaans writers of religious books. Though Dominee Solly was a retired minister, he was often invited to be a guest speaker, and to preach and conduct Pentecostal services in congregations throughout the country. He lived in the Strand with his wife, Louise.

'Oom Solly', as he was affectionally known, passed away on 4 February 2015 aged 88.
